Welcome

The India Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (InGARSS) is the flagship regional conference of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) organized in India. This series has been run for two years, 2020 and 2021, and was skipped in 2022, as the flagship conference of GRSS, the International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (IGARSS) was held in Region-10, in Malaysia.

InGARSS is aimed at providing a platform for sharing knowledge and experience on recent developments and advancements in geoscience and remote sensing technologies, particularly in the context of earth observations, and disaster monitoring, relevant to the Indian subcontinent, and others.

InGARSS 2023 Proceedings Now Published!

We are thrilled to share that the proceedings of the India Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium (InGARSS 2023) have been published on IEEE Xplore!

From cutting-edge research presentations to insightful discussions, the conference was a hub of knowledge exchange and collaboration. Now, with the proceedings available on IEEE Xplore, this wealth of information is accessible to researchers, academics, and professionals worldwide.

Congratulations to all the authors!

JSTARS Call for Papers, Special Issue for InGARSS 2023

Along with the conference proceedings at IEEE Xplore, a special issue of the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing (J-STARS) is now open to the authors of all papers presented during the InGARSS 2023. A paper that is 2-3 times longer is typically expected, with a more detailed presentation of the work, enhanced techniques, and approaches, including additional data sets and comparisons in an enhanced experimental section.

The papers submitted to this J-STARS special issue should NOT be the same as the InGARSS 2023 conference papers.
