NavIC – The Game Changer

Brief

The Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS), also known as NavIC, is an Indian satellite navigation system that provides position, navigation, and timing services to users in India and the surrounding region. NavIC has the potential to revolutionize a wide range of industries, including transportation, logistics, agriculture, and disaster management. NavIC is an independent system that is not dependent on other global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) like GPS or GLONASS. This makes NavIC more reliable and less vulnerable to disruptions

Topics for the Session
  1. Introduction to NavIC and its benefits
  2. Innovations on NavIC
  3. Challenges in integrating NavIC into all devices
  4. Opportunities for NavIC adoption in various industries
  5. Role of government and industry in promoting NavIC adoption
