Technical Community Event – Women in Engineering (WIE)

The Geoscience domain has traditionally been male-dominated, with women experiencing substantial difficulties seeking jobs. Regardless, women have made significant contributions to geoscientists and continue to shatter boundaries, paving the way for future generations of female geoscientists.

Objective

This session aims to bring together female engineers, researchers, educators, and industry experts to share their experiences, discuss difficulties and possibilities, and empower one another to continue breaking down barriers. Expert talk (women entrepreneurs of a geospatial domain) followed by a panel discussion to offer insights into how we can work together to break down barriers and empower women in engineering.
